Introduction

What is the FMZ vision?  Why are we here in Zambia ?

In line with the Christian church and Flying Mission as a whole, our abiding purpose is to share the Gospel – the good news of Jesus Christ – and build the Kingdom of God. More specifically, because aviation is itself a facilitating technology and a force multiplier, the role of FMZ is to provide aviation and logistical support to our fellow-workers who support, resource and develop the rural communities of Zambia.

To achieve this goal we aim to:

• Multiply the effectiveness of Church, Mission and Development workers by enabling them to spend more time serving people and less time travelling long distances on very bad roads
• Provide logistical support to those who are providing developing communities with clean water, basic hygiene, literacy, higher standards of healthcare, better communications and church leadership training
• Proclaim Jesus Christ through the meeting of peoples' spiritual and physical needs wherever we go
• 'Be all things to all men so that by all possible means [we] might save some',  to borrow the words of Paul to the Corinthian church.
