FMS Fleet Currently FMS operates three aircraft out of bases in Gaborone and Maun. We are working to put a second plane in Maun for the Okavango Delta charter work.
![]() A2-MJM – is a 1979 Beechcracft C90 King Air owned by FMS and based in Gaborone. This is the primary aircraft used for the Ministry of Health air ambulance flying. In addition to being turbine powered, pressurised, and air conditioned, the aircraft has been modified with a special door for loading and unloading stretcher patients, a dedicated stretcher berth, and storage for medical equipment. The aircraft's versatility in being able to use both short dirt air strips and major international airports makes it an ideal tool for the mission. ![]() A2-FMB – a Beechcraft King Air 200, is the most recent addition to the FMS fleet. ![]() A2-FMC – is a Cessna 207 used for our charter operation based in Maun. The Cessna 207 is the perfect aircraft for our flying in the Okavango River Delta. Powered by a 300 horsepower reciprocating engine, the 207 is an amazing airplane that can comfortably seat 6 while still accommodating baggage and operating out of very short and rough air strips. |
