Kodiak
Fundraising Campaign (Project #0601)The Kodiak was offered to Flying Mission at a reduced rate by the Quest Aircraft Company of Idaho. Quest designed and built the Kodiak based on the changing needs of missionary aviation around the world. With the increased cost of aviation fuel and a decrease in its availability, Quest came up with an aircraft that could run on jet fuel, which is readily accessible because of its use in the commercial aviation industry, and is cheaper than AVGAS. The ease of getting fuel for the Kodiak is just one of the many reasons that Flying Mission is excited about the opportunity to purchase this unique aircraft. More »

Zambia
Aircraft Hangar (Project #0602)With the Zambia flight programme growing, the need for a new hangar on the Chilongolo base becomes more urgent. As additional aircraft are moved for service in Zambia, the existing facilities will no longer be adequate either for storage of aircraft, or for maintenance needs that develop as a result of increased flying. In the future, it would save time, fuel, and money if maintenance could be done in Zambia at their own maintenance facility.

Buy-A-Block
Campaign 2008 (Project #0604)For every $10 given towards the Buy-A-Block campaign, a block will be made. This amount will also contribute to the electrical, plumbing, road system, and labour costs involved in constructing buildings at the Chilongolo site. For 2008, Flying Mission is trying to raise enough money for 10,000 blocks. The work at Chilongolo not only affects the Flying Mission personnel, but the missionaries and medical communities being served through Flying Mission's aviation and encouragement outreaches. More »

FMZ Fly-2-Buy Project (#0701)This Cessna 210 plane is now the property of Flying Mission Zambia, provided to us by the International Mission Board (IMB) for use in our aviation program. This exceptional project enables us to pay for the aircraft over an extended period as we use it. It also enables us to continue to meet the IMB’s aviation needs and whilst doing so, each flight is an installment towards the cost of the plane. More »
